Quality Assurance

Read a quality statement alongside the product, requirement and evidence it concerns. This guide helps you distinguish listed information, supporting documents and the decisions still needed for a particular order.

This is document-review guidance. It does not describe a verified TaoGroup.Ltd inspection system or establish that a particular report, certificate or test result is available.

Know what each record tells you

  • Catalog information describes the listed product. Keep its units, specification notes and unresolved measurement basis with the value.
  • An agreed specification identifies the requirements accepted for an order. Check the product configuration and revision it covers.
  • A report or certificate has its own issuer, subject and scope. Read those details before using it to support a claim.
  • An acceptance record identifies the assessed item and the decision recorded against agreed criteria. Do not infer acceptance from a quotation or a catalog entry.

These are different types of records, not a list of documents promised with every TaoGroup.Ltd product.

Connect a requirement with its evidence

Use one record for each question that matters to your project. Leave missing information visible.

Requirement
State the characteristic or acceptance criterion that needs confirmation.
Product and configuration
Record the exact product, selected components and relevant specification revision.
Supporting document
Identify the title, issuer, reference, revision or date, stated conditions and limitations.
Decision still needed
Identify any mismatch or missing evidence and who needs to confirm the next step.

Where an inspection is required, clarify its scope, responsible organization, method, sampling and acceptance authority in the order discussion. This guide does not set those arrangements.

Check that the scope matches

A document for another configuration cannot, by itself, confirm yours. If a report names a different component or revision, keep that difference in the review record and seek clarification before relying on it. A parent-company or supplier certificate does not, by itself, establish certification of TaoGroup.Ltd or every product it supplies.

The measurement evidence guide explains external measurement and colour information. It is educational material, not evidence of testing performed for TaoGroup.Ltd products.

Record differences and decisions separately

Describe an observed difference from the agreed criteria before proposing its cause or a correction. Keep the proposed action, any required approval and evidence of a completed action as separate entries. A proposed correction is not a completed correction.

Prepare a product question

Keep the order reference, product identification, relevant photographs and operating conditions together. The Technical Support guide helps organize the question. This page does not set response targets, remedies or warranty terms. Check the applicable order documents and any rights provided by law.
