Warranties: Before You Purchase

This checklist is not TaoGroup.Ltd warranty terms or a claims process. It does not determine warranty entitlement or statutory rights.

Use this guide to review written warranty terms and keep each answer connected to the purchase you are considering.

Which terms apply to your purchase?

Identify the entity issuing the warranty, the product references, the market or territory, and the document version. Check whether those terms cover the purchase and configuration you are considering.

What is covered, and which costs need clarification?

Ask which parts are covered, when any coverage begins, its duration and the conditions attached to it. Clarify how any stated remedy relates to transport, access, removal and reinstallation costs.

Where is each answer recorded?

Keep the proposed product configuration and quotation reference alongside the written terms. For each answer, note the relevant clause or written clarification and check that it addresses your purchase. If a statement does not identify its scope, keep that question open.
